Charles H. (Chip) Hawkins, III started his advisory practice in 2005 at Edward Jones and Co. before joining Capital Planning Group in 2022. A business owner himself, he understands the complexities and struggles of running both a business and a household and makes family and business planning a primary focus for his clients. He also specializes in retirement income strategies, portfolio and investment management, estate planning, and life insurance.
Chip holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration at Ole Miss. He lives in Gulfport, MS with his wife Rachel and two children, Hill and Reid. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, music, and most anything outdoors. He is an active member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church where he sits on the Vestry. He is also a member of The Gulfport Yacht Club, Rotary International, and has sat on the boards of several charities and municipal organizations.
